[tearfund's mission] Tearfund is a Christian relief and development agency working with a global network of local churches to help eradicate poverty. Our ten-year vision is to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a worldwide network of 100,000 local churches.

[message to students] Everyday you make choices that connect you with the world’s poorest people. We want to inspire and educate you to make positive lifestyle choices. We also want to get you campaigning, praying, and fundraising through and with Tearfund. More importantly we can help you pass the message on and mobilise others! The big issues for this year are HIV and AIDS and Climate Change. So in an nutshell we want you to care about Justice and poverty, and we want you to pass the message on!
